working with us
Q: Is it essential to invest in internal communication?
A: Must-have? No. Should-have? Definitely! Good internal communication is like fresh air in a company – you only realize how essential it is when it’s missing. It connects, motivates, and ensures that everyone is pulling in the same direction. So, the real question isn’t whether to invest, but what it costs if you don’t. The level of investment varies depending on company size, industry, and specific needs. We recommend focusing on the quality and effectiveness of internal communication. Well-designed communication strategies can significantly enhance employee satisfaction and productivity, positively impacting business success. We also advise regularly evaluating how well internal communication measures are working and investing accordingly in tools, training, or platforms that meet the company’s needs.
Q: What's the best way to find out if we're a good match?
A: The best way? By simply talking. A first conversation quickly reveals whether the chemistry is right and whether we understand your needs. No long sales pitches—just a direct, honest, and level-headed exchange. If that clicks, everything else will fall into place.
Q: How does a classic project with you work?
A: Every project follows its own rules, but here’s a typical workflow: 1. Initial conversation – We listen carefully, understand your needs and goals. This step often determines whether the chemistry is right and if we’re a good fit. 2. First strategic and design sketches – We outline initial ideas and provide a rough cost estimate, helping clients decide whether to proceed and define the scope. 3. Concept phase – Development of a detailed concept, including an action plan and design framework. 4. Fine-tuning – Refining the concept together until it’s a perfect fit. 5. Implementation – Design, production, or development—agile and efficient. 6. Feedback & adjustments – Adapting flexibly, optimizing, and refining. 7. Finalization & rollout – Delivering the final solution. 8. Ongoing support – Further consulting if needed.
Q: You have such a broad portfolio with only 10 team members. What services do you buy in addition?
A: Almost nothing. And that’s exactly what makes us special. Our team is set up to handle all services in-house—flexible, efficient, and perfectly coordinated. Instead of managing external resources, we focus our energy on smart solutions and true collaboration. Of course, we source artistic services, rent equipment, or coordinate trade show builders—but even then, we always seek the best solution for the location and budget.
Q: Why is there no specific work by you on your website?
A: Internal communication is often sensitive—that’s why we handle our clients’ content with the utmost trust. Every challenge has its own language, and instead of copy-paste solutions, we focus entirely on your specific needs. If you’d like to learn more about our work, we’re happy to offer insights in a personal conversation to help you determine whether we’re the right partner for your task.
Q: What are you strongest at?
A: Humble and without unnecessary fuss, we develop tailored solutions. Because we listen closely, we design with real needs in mind. Our clients especially appreciate that they can call us anytime—even after the tenth revision or a change in direction. We love collaborative work and want everyone to be proud of what they’ve created in the end.
Q: Do you need high budgets to work with you?
A: No. Far more important than big budgets are a realistic view of the status quo and clear, jointly defined goals. With our connected team, we work efficiently and offer services at fair prices. The key is to set the right priorities and identify the biggest levers. There’s always more that can be done—but the most important step is simply to start.
Q: Do you also realize projects abroad?
A: A clear yes. But we don’t carry coals to Newcastle—in other words, we prioritize excellent interface management. Depending on transport routes and logistical conditions, we present different solutions to help you reach your goal without spending unnecessary money on transportation.
Q: What is WAJE and what does the name stand for?
A: The name WAJE comes from the last names of our founding couple. But we don’t embrace a top-down culture—and that’s reflected even in our email addresses: everyone uses their first name plus (at)waje.de. This underscores that we speak a common language. No matter who you connect with, you’ll always have a competent, friendly, and, most importantly, highly motivated partner by your side.
Q: What services does WAJE offer?
A: xyz
Q: In which sectors is WAJE active?
A: We’re not tied to a single industry. With years of experience in pharmaceutical communication, we’re particularly at home with technical or complex products and services. But we thrive most when our clients value communication, appreciate aesthetic solutions, and are willing to engage—ensuring the result perfectly aligns with their corporate culture and brand identity.
Q: How does WAJE differ from other providers?
A: Few agencies of our size offer a comparable portfolio. We combine strong individual expertise with a deep commitment to collaborative work. The key lies in our modern company culture—and the fortunate reality that our team just clicks on a human level. We truly appreciate this and are grateful to work this way. Our clients feel it—and that’s what makes the difference.
Q: What does the consulting area at WAJE include?
A: We don’t start with ready-made solutions but with the right questions: What defines the current situation? Where is the journey headed? Together, we identify the biggest challenges and quick wins. Our strength lies in developing a structured path – with clear milestones that provide guidance while allowing flexibility for adjustments. We draw on over 20 years of experience with corporations and mid-sized companies. Our approach? Collaborative, pragmatic, and easy to understand – because the most important thing is that measures seamlessly integrate into everyday business.
Q: Are there special offers for start-ups or SMEs?
A: No—and that’s exactly our strength. Instead of offering prepackaged solutions, we tailor our approach to each situation. We don’t use a sledgehammer to crack a nut; we take a close look at what’s truly needed. What’s exciting is that startups and SMEs can learn a lot from each other—and we see ourselves as bridge builders in that exchange. And for those building something new, we’re always here to listen. Pro bono support? Let’s talk. :-)
Q: What role does sustainability play in WAJE's projects?
A: Sustainability isn’t a trend for us—it’s a mindset. We prioritize resource-efficient materials, digital alternatives, and long-lasting concepts. Instead of disposable solutions, we focus on quality and smart reusability—for a lasting impact in every sense. And if print is the right choice, we’re big fans of truly high-quality, intelligent solutions. For us, quality is a key enabler of sustainability.
Q: Does WAJE also support change management processes?
A: Change is never easy – but it can be successful when people embrace it. This is where communication comes in: it creates understanding, eases fears, and makes change tangible. We support change processes with clear language, the right formats, and a focus on what truly matters – the people who bring change to life.
Q: What technologies and tools does WAJE use?
A: We are technology-neutral and adapt flexibly. Our core system is Microsoft—because it’s the preferred platform for many of our clients. But if you work with Google or other tools, we simply go along. Additionally, we use Easyjob and Asana for project management, Miro and Notion for creative processes, and Loop for flexible collaboration. For streaming events, we rely on Teams Live as well as professional streaming solutions with our tech partners. Our focus: efficient, seamless, and adaptable workflows.
Q: How does WAJE deal with the issue of data security?
A: Data security is a top priority for us. We work with secure servers, encrypted communication channels, and clearly defined access rights. We handle sensitive client data with the utmost care and never share it with third parties. Being highly tool-savvy, we maintain professional workflows despite our lean structures. In short: confidentiality is non-negotiable for us.
Q: Does WAJE also offer support after project completion?
A: After one project, the next is often just around the corner. The closer the collaboration, the better we can anticipate topics—and proactively set the right course. If desired, we remain by your side even after completion—flexibly and seamlessly. Many changes take time to become embedded in daily routines before the next step follows. Our experience shows: lasting change works best in well-planned stages.
Q: How quickly can a project be started with WAJE?
A: That depends entirely on you—we’re ready to go in no time. Ultimately, the project’s complexity determines the timeline. But when it’s urgent, we’ve successfully implemented solutions within a single day.

Q: How can WAJE make my brand more visible online?
A: xyz
Q: What kind of videos and animations can WAJE create?
A: Anything you can imagine. We master all the common editing programs and have a keen sense of music, timing, and visual language—ensuring your message has the right impact. And if something doesn’t exist, we simply illustrate it or recreate it in 3D.
Q: Does WAJE offer 2D and 3D animations?
A: We do both. Our motion designers create objects for various channels—whether for an interactive experience of a complex machine or an emotional visualization of a key visual for a new product. Animations add an extra level of staging to symbols, images, and messages. Plus, their application expands because we design solutions with versatility in mind from the start.
Q: Does WAJE develop customized websites or do you use ready-made templates?
A: Both have their strengths—the choice depends on what the website needs to achieve. We tailor everything to the corporate design while also considering how the site will be maintained in the long run. We see templates as a good option when they are functional and sustainable. In the end, one principle holds true: form follows function—first the goal, then the design, and the right tool.
Q: What are the limits to the use of virtual worlds?
A: None—at least technically. In virtual worlds, anything you can imagine is possible. The real limits often lie elsewhere: in the confidence of decision-makers or the hesitation of certain user groups. And that’s exactly where we come in. There are smart, low-complexity solutions that make entry easier—and significantly lower the barrier to embracing something new.

Q: Does WAJE also do the printing as well as the design?
A: Yes—with the right partner for each project. We collaborate with production houses in various cities, each specializing in different materials. This ensures that every print product is manufactured to the highest standard—with short transport routes and top quality. Because great design doesn’t stop at the screen—it’s all about the perfect final result.
Q: How does WAJE develop a coherent communication concept for my brand?
A: By diving deep—into your brand, your values, and your goals. We analyze what defines you, who you want to reach, and which channels work best. In internal communication, this means understanding both the management’s perspective and the workforce’s challenges—and finding ways to bridge the two. The result is a well-thought-out concept that combines strategy and creativity, strengthens your brand, and creates communication with lasting impact.
Q: How does WAJE combine print and digital elements in event design?
A: By considering print and digital as one from the very start. This way, both elements complement and enrich each other, allowing the story to evolve in unexpected ways—while always staying true to the central narrative. And because we understand the unique strengths of each medium, we create the perfect mix for our clients.

Q: Do you also do event organization?
A: n most cases, and especially for complex live communication projects, rather not. We simply don’t have the manpower for that. However, we have great connections to experienced event logistics professionals. If it’s a smaller event where the organizational and execution interfaces are easy to manage, we handle it ourselves as part of a streamlined project structure.
Q: Can hybrid event solutions also be realized?
A: Yes—and with plenty of experience. Since 2020, we’ve been on a steep learning curve, developing hybrid events from start to finish: from the perfect theme and studio setup to media design for a dynamic format. An experienced tech partner supports us with cameras and studio equipment, while we take care of everything else—including presentation support for speakers and interactive elements that foster a sense of togetherness and shared enjoyment.
Q: Are my ideas heard and taken into account when designing the exhibition stand?
A: Absolutely! We listen closely, take your ideas seriously, and apply our expertise to make the most of them. Communication is most effective when it’s strategically thought through—that’s why we appreciate clients who are open to new impulses. This way, we create a solution that not only looks great but truly delivers impact. And thanks to our visualization expertise, you’ll always get a realistic preview beforehand—avoiding unpleasant surprises and ensuring everyone feels confident in the outcome.
Q: Are there flexible and modular solutions that can be adapted to different events and trade fairs?
A: Yes—but with different approaches. For events, we draw on our expertise in dramaturgy and didactics. While proven formats exist, we deliberately create moments of surprise to capture attention. For trade shows, we’ve developed a smart concept with NALO: modular booth designs that simplify planning while offering an attractive price-performance ratio.
Nothing beats a personal conversation.
